Trading Systems Associates plc, specialists in providing solutions to complex financial markets technology problems, is pleased to announce that it is fully licensed to develop applications for Reuters Market Data System (RMDS) - Reuters' strategic market data distribution platform.

The agreement with Reuters positions TS-Associates to help financial institutions that are planning the migration from their existing Triarch and TIB platforms to the Reuters Market Data System (RMDS).

The signing of Reuters' Developer License Agreement (DLA), which licenses TS-Associates to develop applications to the RMDS platform, extends TS-Associates' long-standing relationship with Reuters and TIBCO.

By utilizing its in-depth technical expertise and experience of working with all components of the distribution platforms in combination with its access to Reuters' development APIs, TS-Associates can provide first-class integration consultancy and bespoke software development services to financial institutions.

The services TS-Associates offers include migration of existing platform components to RMDS and integration with RMDS from the large number of legacy in-house systems and applications that firms typically have. TS-Associates, which is well known for its range of products created to complement market data platforms, can also provide software development services that will allow clients to maximize the potential of the RMDS system.

Henry Young, Director of Product Strategy, says, "We have a number of clients that are working on their migration plans to RMDS and have enlisted our expertise to help them through the process. Signing the Reuters' DLA enables us to provide this much-needed service to the financial marketplace."

TS-Associates works with all supported RMDS infrastructure platforms including Sun Solaris, Linux (which Reuters recently adopted as an option for RMDS), as well as Microsoft Windows desktops, and cross-platform APIs.
